Great news! We are pleased to share that the Hospital and Union have reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract for MWHC nurses.
The agreement includes:
Across-the-board increases of 3% and step increases every year, plus
An increase in shift differentials by $1.20/hour for evenings, nights, weekends and WIN nurses which goes into effect the third year
It also increases step levels at the top of the structure to help recruit additional experienced nurses to our team, and provides a $350 monthly contribution for medical benefits for Senior Nurse Work Option nurses.
The agreement is part of a comprehensive package that also includes security improvements.
The tentative agreement must still be ratified by February 1 by NNU members in a vote the union will schedule. If ratified, the new contract goes into effect March 1, 2026.
