We are pleased to share that MedStar Washington Hospital Center nurses have, by majority, ratified a new three-year contract, which is effective March 1, 2026.
The contract includes:
3 percent annual across-the-board increases, plus step increases
Increased shift differentials by $1.20/hour for evenings, nights, weekends and WIN nurses, in the third year
Larger step increases at the top of the pay structure for our most experienced RNs
A $350 monthly contribution for medical benefits for Senior Nurse Work Option nurses
Numerous safety enhancements, including a voice for RNs on the Workplace Violence Prevention Committee
Pay increases go into effect the first full pay period of the new contract, which is March 8 through March 21. Your increases will show in paychecks dated March 27, 2026.
